Jobs are important, and the government no longer have capacity to create jobs. Our country needs to focus on creating jobs in order to grow our economy, because there is no way our economy can be stable if there is no job creation. However, people need to work so that they will able to provide for themselves and their children. So, the importance of job creation in South Africa, should be looked at as a collective responsibility.
1. To reduce poverty
When we create jobs and make sure that the jobs created are great. We will be lifting many people out of poverty, and the more people work is the more they will able to provide for their families. Hence, reducing poverty in our country.
2. Tax payers
The more people work is the more they pay tax, and when we pay tax, is the more the government will have money to fund welfare and public services.
3. To reduce unemployment
When the government start to encourage people about entrepreneurship the better, hence, we must create jobs for ourselves, such as starting small businesses which will help to reduce unemployment in our country.
4. Economic stability
Job creation and economic growth are related. Job creation is necessary because, the more people work the more the economy become stable. Economic stability is needed before people can start making big investments in themselves and their children.
So, when we create jobs. It doesn’t only allow us to develop more individually, but it can also benefit our country’s economy by uplifting the private sector. In this way, empowering the communities by reducing unemployment rates and improving the life of the countries citizens.
Altogether, the importance of job creation is a vast topic. Of which, encompasses a lot more than simply a personal satisfaction of owning a private business and achieving the so desired economic freedom that most of us constantly seek. It is also a patriotic act and as a way to play our role on job creation, we have partnered with Lulaway to help reduce unemployment rate in South Africa.
