What is the best way to overcome laziness/procrastination?

Here are some of the best ways to overcome laziness/procrastination

1. Learn to say no.

If you work with children and you’re not listening to their demands and complaints, that’s your problem. Kids aren’t saying “No, I want you to come to my birthday party.”

The kids are just saying “No, I can’t listen to you until I’m done with my homework.” Don’t feel pressured. You can always “act up” when you are called on and it’s fun for you and your colleagues to see.

For example, you could bring a doll to your meeting so you can move and sing while you’re on the call.

2. Set small goals.

When you want to do something, set small goals for yourself. As long as you keep setting small goals, you’ll get things done.

If you say “I want to quit procrastinating,” your goal is only to learn how to work smarter and not harder.

3. Research activities.

Find something that you are good at and discover how others like you enjoy doing it. Do more research on your topic and talk to people who do what you like.
