4 ways to make better decisions
1. Deeply acknowledge your anxiety
This isn’t to say that you should be happy that your anxiety is there. We should still acknowledge it and work on getting rid of it.
But don’t make it a crutch. Your mind is like a muscle; when it gets stronger and you feel more comfortable, you can work on letting go of the “restrictive” thoughts.
2. Know that you’re not the only one
You’re not the only one struggling with anxiety. You are not alone. Don’t think that you’re alone; you may just not know it yet.
I know, because when I had to stop dealing with my anxiety, I realized that I was not the only one that had to stop dealing with it. The same thing had to happen to me, and it has.
3. Choose to be happy
Anxiety will get in the way of your happiness. You can choose to have less of it, if you’re ready to be happy. It’s called freedom.
You can choose to take that day off to go for a walk, and then, instead of thinking about that one day, you can just keep doing it and being happy in the present moment. If you can do that, you’ll be free of it.
4. Be an inspiration
As humans, we tend to follow those who are in a better situation than us. You may have heard this before, but it is true. It’s like a drug, and you want that constant high.
It’s no good, though, if you give up on that person. No good, if you find yourself going down a slippery slope of “ugh, this is getting harder to manage.”
