5 ways to motivate yourself to work more harder day to day
1. Get the boss to give you the best assignments
This is the most important tip. If the boss gives you the best assignments, you are going to work harder.
When I got the best assignments, I would quit my job. I would move to a cheaper place and start my own business.
So now, I don’t have to take any bullshit from my bosses. I take the assignments and work harder.
2. Demand a higher salary
It is very difficult for managers to pay more than a certain amount. So I am not going to accept less money.
So I would simply ask my boss to give me a better salary.
My salary has now gone up to $125,000 a year. When my boss asked me why I asked for a higher salary, I said that I think it’s because of me that I can earn this amount.
Another example is the car park. I remember once I saw this man parking his Mercedes Benz at a much higher place. And I got curious about what was he doing.
3. Motivate yourself by trying to become better
I remember one time, I was having breakfast with a friend and I thought, “I must become better.”
And I was thinking about how to become better and I was trying to think about what is the best way to do so.
My friend was laughing at me. But I think I am good at this because this is my job. I should think like this and keep up my skills.
4. Make time to relax
After work I go home and sometimes I get tired. Sometimes I take a nap. I read the news or browse the internet.
Sometimes I watch TV. But most of the time I just watch music videos and other videos on YouTube.
I love listening to music. It relaxes me.
If you can do the same, you will be more relaxed. When you watch music videos, you do it at your own time. So that you will not get tired.
And whenever I see funny videos on YouTube, I always record them on my phone and save them for later.
5. Put your focus on your goals and not on your daily routine
Most people in the workplace do not focus on their goals. They try to focus on the everyday routine.
In order to focus on your goals, you need to switch your focus away from your daily routine.
That means that in your daily routine, your focus must be on accomplishing tasks. But when you are focused on achieving your goals, your focus must be on achieving your goals.
